I am an experienced consultant in emergency medicine and acute general internal medicine in Sheffield UK.

As clinical lead for acute medicine since 2004, I have extensive managerial experience. 

I have also pioneered the new medical examiner role in ensuring deaths are correctly referred to the coroner in a timely way and also that cause of death is certified correctly. I have reviewed over 10,000 cases since 2008.

My education portfolio includes roles as training programme director and foundation programme director in the past, and latterly as National Clinical Lead for e-Learning for the Medical Examiner programme.
